Willie Bester

Born in Montagu, outside Cape Town 1956

Willie Bester is a multi-disciplinary south African Artist, he is best knowns for his sculptures,installations,mixed media and his large collage and he also practices oil paintings and watercolours. He uses his art to comment on social-political issues in South Africa, his early work ‘’Crossroads ‘’ 1991 Mixed media was dedicated to the protest of against the apartheid system. His work had made a serious impact in changing people perception. He had exhibited globally.
