''Lockdown blue ''

Here are works created during the lockdown in the middle of a global pandemic.

1. it first started with a sketch of my friend using the laptop at the university library during lockdown restriction (we are from the same bubble), I wanted to capture that moment and painting it was therapeutic.

A2 Oil painting, capturing her wearing her mask played an important part as wearing something that covered her mouth and nose meant that she keeping herself and other safes. also, it shows in current times we as a whole became dependent on checking the news on our devices such as '' BBC NEWS '' for what is going on. we could only leave our house for necessary reasons such as taking walks, going for education or work. this painting approximately took two weeks to complete as I had to change, re-adjust and add layers of paint to make the painting stands out.
