This work is based on a black and white photograph that I came across through social media.

However, I decided to add a twist of my own such as writing words that I could think and feel while doing this piece such as'' hear me, cry, scream,'' and in the background, I wrote every racial slur that I came across or heard in my lifetime.

While doing this piece, it was quite therapeutic as a way to express what the injustices/racial issues that I saw through scrolling social media and things that I experienced as well as a person of colour.
